CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) Update

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19):

Stanly County Schools has been in close communication with the Stanly County Health Department, and monitoring information provided by the North Carolina Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) concerning preparation for the management of Coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure. District administration and members of the School Nurse team met today, Feb. 27 to discuss the latest updates, and will continue to communicate weekly to monitor and adjust the prescribed protocols as needed.  

At this time, there have been no reports of the virus in Stanly County. However, Stanly County Schools is working to keep students and employees as safe as possible through preventive measures. Health officials advise the steps you take to prevent the spread of the common cold and flu will also help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
