I myself am a product of Stanly County Schools and take great pride in what we do as a school system. I attended school in the southern end at Norwood Elementary and am a South Stanly High School graduate. I have worked for the past several years in Stanly County Schools as an EC Teacher, Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal of Millingport Elementary before coming to be Principal of NSMS.

Originally from Oregon, I now am proud to call Stanly County home! I taught Kindergarten for 4 years, and then taught 4th grade at Endy Elementary for 4 years. Last year I served as the Administrative Intern at North Stanly High School while completing my Master of School Administration through the PPEERS program at UNCG. I’m thrilled to continue serving and growing in the northern end of our county this year!
